Submission

Submitted extended abstracts abd technical papers must follow the CVPR paper format and guidelines (see CVPR2021 Author Guidelines). The accepted Extended Abstracts must be presented by one of the authors. The submission will be managed with the EPIC@CVPR2021 CMT website.

Extended Abstracts (2-4 pages) Deadline 6th May, 2021

We invite submissions of extended abstracts of ongoing or already published work, as well as reports on demonstrations and prototypes. Extended Abstracts should be 2-4 pages including references. Authors are given the opportunity to present their work to the right audience. Accepted work will be presented as either an oral or a poster presentation. The review will be single blind. There will be no published proceedings, but the authors of accepted abstracts will be requested to upload their abstract to arXiv. Links to the arXiv'ed abstracts will be available from the workshop's webpage.

Submissions are expected to deal with human-centric perception including, but not limited to:

• Eyewear devices for egocentric perception and computation

• Egocentric vision for object/event recognition

• Egocentric vision for summarization

• Egocentric vision for social interaction and human behavior understanding

• Computational visual behaviour analysis

• Head-mounted eye tracking and gaze estimation

• Attention modelling and next fixation prediction

• Interactive AR/VR and Egocentric perception

• Augmented human performance

• Interactive AR/VR and Egocentric perception

Technical Reports on the EPIC-Kitchens Challenges (2-6 pages) Deadline 4th June, 2021

All participants in the EPIC-Kitchens challenges are requested to submit a technical report on their method. This is a requirement for the competition. Reports should be 2-6 pages including references. Use the same fromat above and the CMT website to submit your technical report.
